MBTI Results and After Action Review

When I received my results I was an ENFJ. An ENFJ in a nutshell is a warm, compassionate, loyal, sociable, expressive, etc... To me this was no surprise, it was a very accurate represntation I thought. Granted I may not come off as this person initially. Some people would assume I was kind of a cold, and detached person just because of the first encounter. I don't tend to say a whole lot around people I don't know, but those who take the time to get to know me well will find that I'm a fun-loving person.

The one thing that surprised me the most is when I filled out my goals, because when I wrote down my ultimate goal at the bottom of the page it was that when they put me in the ground was for people to stand around and say that I gave it my best effort in life and I was a good person. This was after I even took the MBTI and now that I look at my goals and my results I can see that what I said would be typical of an ENFJ person.

I suppose over these past few years and this semester especially I have gotten more in touch with values, personal views, and my little quirks or characteristics, because they have become challenged, and since I'm out of my comfort zone I tend to stick closer to them, and try to surround myself with people who act the same way. The MBTI just enforces what I already believe, and personally I kind of thought it was nice to have the results written down and explained on paper instead of a test which just throws you in a percentage and leaves it at that.

  1. I feel the same way about my extroversion as you do about yours. When I get into a group of people I don't know well, I tend to keep a little quieter and find my place around one or two of them before I can open up to the whole group. But once I do get to know everyone they tpically can't shut me up. I'm glad MBTI could reinforce your personal feelings about yourself!

  2. I also felt my results matched my type of personality. For the most part anyway. It's good you're surrounding yourself with people that have the same values as you.
